Frequently Asked Questions
where are you located?
We are located at 102 Euclid Ave in the Sandpoint Business Events Center (the 3 story brick building off Hwy 2/Pine St & Euclid). There are 2 parking lots on either side of the building as well as street parking. There are two main entrances at the front of the building and an ADA accessible entrance on the North side of the building (facing Hwy 2/Pine St). We are located on the second floor suite 206. Although there may not be a number on our door yet, there is a directory next to the stairs when you walk into the building. We are located on the second floor approximately in the middle of the hallway with The Yellow Room logo on the front door.
What does my membership cover?
A Wellness membership will give you 8 classes each month. Our Limitless membership offers unlimited classes. Some donation based classes are excluded from both memberships and offer members and nonmembers an opportunity to give as they are able, as well as provide full accessibility to those in need. Some donation based classes and events/workshops are included. Limitless Members also get 10% off select workshops/events.
Are EvENTS, workshops, and class series included in my membership?
Most are not included in your membership. Some may be included and will specify. Some offerings are sliding scale and/or have a discounted price to Limitless members. Other events, workshops, and class series offer scholarships for those in need. Details will be included in each description.
How do I create an account?
At the top of the page in the menu bar click “login” and create an account if you do not already have one. You will need to verify your account via your email to access your account. If you already have an account please reset your password.
How do I login to my account?
Go to our website home page and click “login” at the top of the page. Sign in with the email you used to set up your account. Be sure to login with the same email you purchased your class pass or membership with. If you are already a student with us and this is your first time logging in you will need to reset your password in order to login for the first time.
How do I reset my password?
Click “login” in the menu bar at the top page of our website. Click “reset password”. If this does not work, email theyellowroomsandpoint@gmail.com and we will reset the password for you.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Please double check you are using the correct email. It is possible your account is under a different email. If this does not work, click reset password.
If this does not work, your email we have on file may be different. Please email theyellowroomsandpoint@gmail.com to verify that your email you desire to use is the one we have on file for you so we can sync your account appropriately.
You can also just show up to class and have the teacher sign you in on their end. Keep in mind the class may be full so sending us an email in advance may be your best choice.
When I sign up for class it says it’s $22, but I thought it was donation based.
Most of our donation based classes are sliding scale $0 - $22. The system automatically suggests the highest amount. We do by no means suggest that you donate $22 as we want our classes to be accessible to all. If needed, please delete the $22 and enter your desired donation amount. Any amount is welcome. We have a scale of $0 - $22 to show our community how far your donation goes:
$0: PRESENCE: Your presence is a present. You add to the energy and culture of this space, help us fulfill out mission and vision, and help spread awareness.
$1-$11:RECIPROCITY: You support reciprocity to our teachers who facilitate your well-being experience
$12-$21: SUSTAINING: You help sustain the non-profit space and operation
$22+: CONTRIBUTION: You contribute to community outreach projects, and are a bigger part of building a bridge to future wellness for all.
Please select the amount that is most reasonable for you during class time.
Why is there a fee attached to the checkout price?
Opting into a new system to make the user experience more friendly for our staff, teachers, and students unfortunately came with added fees through Stripe. There is an option to select “I prefer to donate later” or “I prefer to pay later” or if you are already logged in “reserve as unpaid”. This option is for students who would like to pay cash. Please be sure to bring your cash to class and pay before class begins so you can float out of class marinating in the experience instead of worrying about paying.
I can’t make it to class. How do I cancel?
Go to the main website page and login in from the top of the page. Select schedule and find the class you want to cancel. Click “view”. Click your icon at the top right. Select “bookings” and then cancel. If this is a non-donation based class and you canceled before the 30min window you will be refunded your credit.
Is there a fee for late cancel or no show?
There is no additional fee for a late cancel or no show, however if it is a class that has a set price or sliding scale that is not donation based, your credit will be subtracted from your membership unless you cancel the class 30 minutes before the start time. We desire to honor the time and effort it takes a teacher to prepare for their offering.
I showed up to class and no one was there
We sincerely apologize for this error. We do update the schedule the moment we know an offering is canceled. Please be sure to check the schedule on our website before class to make sure the class is not canceled. If you are signed up in advance and the class is canceled you will be notified via email. Every once in a while a teacher no-shows. We have it in our policy for the teacher to notify us if they can’t make it. If the class was on the schedule and a teacher no-showed please let us know asap by texting 208-738-3864 or emailing theyellowroomsandpoint@gmail.com.
How many classes do I have left in my class pass?
1 class = 1 credit. You can see your remaining credits/classes on your account. We will update this with further instructions as soon as we can. If you can not find how many credits you have left please email theyellowroomsandpoint@gmail.com
The class already started and now I can’t sign in.
Once the class starts it disappears. Please do your best to sign up for classes before the class time. If needed, the teacher can sign you in and they can take your payment from their end. If you were unable to pay for class please DO NOT use the donate QR code. Please email theyellowroomsandpoint@gmail.com and we will send you an invoice.
I left something in the studio. How can I get it back?
You can check our schedule here and drop by just before or after another class is scheduled, or send us an email at theyellowroomsandpoint@gmail.com to arrange a time to pick it up.
I’d like to teach a class at The Yellow Room. What’s that process?
We’d love to have you join us!
Please take a moment to share some ideas here about the gifts you have to offer.
I want to take classes at The Yellow Room but I don’t have the means to afford a membership or drop ins?
We don’t want money to ever be a barrier for anyone in our community to be a part of The Yellow Room. We have several options, between volunteer and work share programs to full and partial scholarships. Please go here and let us know how we can help.
How do I cancel my membership?
We always welcome feedback about what is not working for you with your membership and would love to help you figure out if another option is better for you. If you are ready to cancel, you will be able to cancel online within your account; Login to your account, select “active packages” tab, find subscription and click cancel, then confirm cancel. If you have issues please send us an email.
I accidentally signed up for two memberships and am getting charged 2x. What do I do?

ARe animals allowed in the space?
As much as we love furry friends we ask that your animals do stay at home, outside, or in the vehicle (if it is safe to do so). We may have people in class that are allergic and our space is small without windows not allowing for circulation. If they are a service animal required because of a disability we understand and can accommodate. Please note according to ADA and public accommodation laws in Idaho: If your service animal poses a direct threat to health and safety, not housebroken, or is out of control and you are unable or unwilling to effectively control it we can ask your animal to be outside of the space during the offering. You are still entitled to enter the public accommodation even if your service animal is not allowed in. Thank you for understanding.
